By default configuration, Aveneer allows generating documents based on the following standard objects:
- Account
- Contact
- Opportunity
Buttons for those objects are included in the Aveneer package. However, they still need to be placed on appropriate page layouts.
Aveneer can either generate documents using a single record (record page) or collection of records (list view of an object):
- Generate Documents based on a single record – a button available on the record page allows generating documents based on selected record data. Documents are later stored on that record’s “Notes & Attachments” related list.
- Generate Documents based on collection of records – a button available on a List View allows generating documents based on data of a collection of selected records. Documents are later stored on those records’ “Notes & Attachments” related list or, if “Merge to Single Document” is checked, in the “Files” object in “Shared with Me / Owned by Me” folder as a single document with each record’s data saved on a separate page.
